Distant Hearts

There’s a small group of characters Jessica has drawn consistently over the past 15 years. Celia and Daxsus (whose names have changed many times and may change yet again) are two characters developed during this period. This collection of illustrations is a visual exploration of the couple and the world they inhabit. Using prompts from both the Peachtober and Facetober challenges from 2021, these keywords formed the launching point in telling a small part of their story.
